Dickens Heath library provides a wide range of adult and children's
books and DVDs. There are fourteen computers with free internet access
and email with both colour and black & white printing available.
Photocopying and fax facilities are also available. There is a meeting
room available for hire. Regular storytime and rhyme time sessions for
the under fives are provided. For information about these and other
activities please contact the library.

During the summer months there is a Summer Reading Challenge for children where they read six books over the summer holiday period and on completion receive a certificate and a medal that is presented in a school assembly.

Dickens Heath Medical Centre is situated in the Village Centre, between the Library and the Village Hall. There are five doctors, two nurses and attached health visitors and midwife.
